      Copyright is a law that protects the work of a person by requiring permission to use one's work. Fair use allows one to be able to use another person's work in certain contexts, like schoolwork. As a teacher developing materials, I would make sure to check whether material I was using was either copyrighted or fair use. I would also have my students know the difference so that they could be aware of it when submitting their own work. I would make sure to have a Works Cited page for all assignments that required research.      There are many technology implementation issues that are seen in the classroom today. In order to prevent academic dishonesty in my classroom, I would make sure all work has a Works Cited page. I would also run their assignments through a plagiarism check application. When I became a student at FSU, I started to use Microsoft Word for papers and assignments as well as lab reports and creating creative materials. I prefer to use Google Docs for college assignments as it is easy to collaborate on and has many features that Word does not. Also, you are able to access the documents from any computer by logging onto your drive, which is super helpful.      The most meaningful ISTE standard to meaningful to me is designer. Educators are designers for learning environments and help create learning activities and experiences. This is important for K-12 educators because it allows them to create ways to enhance the learning of their students.  Hi! My name is Mariel D'Errico and I am a senior at Florida State University. I am majoring in Family and Child Sciences with a double minor in Education and Psychology. I grew up in New Jersey with my mother and grandmother. I hope to go into full-time ministry when I graduate.      My experience with technology in an educational setting includes using many computer applications. I am very familiar with the Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. I also am familiar with Google applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
